Istria is a common name of the area between Trieste gulf and Kvarner in Northern
Adriatic nowadays shared between Slovenia and Croatia with a strong and permanent
Italian influence. Some people compare Istria's landscape to Tuscany.

Our tour
This tour can start in
- Ljubljana or
- any coastal town (Piran, Portoroz', Koper, Izola)
where we pick you up at desired location. Pick up at other location in Slovenia
is also possible. The itinerary may vary (due to season, your specific desires,
pick-up location, ...) but it will definitely fulfill your day.
The tour will take us to Slovenian part of Istria starting with Socerb castle, Strunjan or
Sec'ovlje saltpans, historical town of Piran, one of the quiet inland villages
(e.g. Kos'tabona) and Hrastovlje. We can also taste some
local food and drinks (tipically Istrian or traditionally Italian) and, during summer of course, preferably take some
swimming, sunbathing or even cruising in Strunjan nudist beach, also popular among gay people. This tour is available
every day of the year.
Seaside
On the seaside there is quite a few interesting historical towns and tourist
resorts such as Koper, Izola, Strunjan, Fiesa, Piran and Portoroz'.
It's possible to take some sunbathing from April - October and outdoor swimming
from June - October. Indoor swimming possible all year round in Portoroz and Koper numerous spas and swimming pools. For those interesting in gambling there
is a casino in Portoroz.

A taste to remember
Istria offers a variety of different local food, including fresh seafood on the
coast or truffles in inland Istria. Truffles are a rare delicacy and believed to
be an aphrodisiac.

- tour from the coast: EUR 99,00 per car (up to three people)
