Ljubljana Castle The Triple Bridge Central market
Ljubljana Castle that has been the symbol of the Slovene capital for centuries. It is worth climbing to the top of the viewing tower, as a wonderful panorama on the city and its surroundings will reward your effort.

With his idea to broaden the old bridge with two additional side bridges, Joz'e Plec'nik wanted to bring the river closer to the town and revive the riverbanks. Discover the picturesque central market, a real feast to the eyes of each visitor.
Preseren Square The National and University Library A cafe on the riverbank
Preseren Square - more of a junction, really - takes its name from Slovenia's greatest poet and represents the heart of Ljubljana. You can deepen your knowledge on architect Joz'e Plec'nik, who left a strong personal stamp on his native city in the first half of the 20th century. On the photo above: the National and University Library.

You deserve a refreshment in one of the numerous cafes and restaurants along the riverbanks, which is also a good way to observe and feel the pulse of our everyday life.
The University The Town Hall The Congress Square
The main building of the University. The Town Hall is the most typical example of Baroque architecture in Ljubljana. The Congress Square with Ursuline Church of the Holy Trinity. The square was named after the Congress of the Holy Alliance in 1821.
