Skiing in Slovenia

Slovenia has dozens of well maintained ski centers. The most known ski centers worldwide are Kranjska gora and Maribor Pohorje, which hosts FIS Ski World Cup competitions. The highest ski center in Slovenia is on Mount Kanin, where the snow remains well into the spring. Also among the most popular destinations for alpine skiers are Vogel (above Bohinj Lake), Krvavec (not far from Ljubljana), Rogla, Golte and Cerkno. Our tour is a full day skiing, sightseeing and relaxing guided tour. This tour is available every day in winter season (from December 2007 to March 2008).

Program includes (included in price):

• pick up at your hotel in Ljubljana
• car transportation to Vogel (Bohinj; via Lake Bled) or one of Slovenia's numerous ski resorts (depends on snow and weather conditions; not more than 1,5 hours drive in one direction)
• our preferred ski resort is Vogel
  • in our opinion the most beautiful ski resorts in the area; breathtaking environment and views
  • it's extremely quiet there and if you are looking for peaceful place without millions of ski tourists, you will have a wonderful time
  • getting there by a cable car will reward you with very nice views of Julian Alps and its highest peak Triglav - the symbol of Slovenia
